She bears much of the child-bearing responsibility and tries to do her best keep her family together. She dedicates her life to her family. Filiz, a protagonist who has been struggling to survive in one of the poor neighborhoods of the city is the oldest child of the family who has looked after her five younger siblings since her mother left them and her father is addicted to alcohol.

WHERE WE COME FROM.
In 1958, two brothers borrowed $600 from their mom to open a pizza place in Wichita, Kansas. They named it Pizza Hut, because their sign only had room for eight letters. How profound!
Soon, the restaurant grew. Why? The pizza was awesome. The service felt like home. And the customers were treated like family.
And we’ve been delivering that same food and service ever since.

From day one, the Carney brothers could look their customers in the eye and promise them the finest pizza in town — because they knew the farmers who grew the ingredients, and they knew those farmers cared about quality.
Since then, our farmers have grown right alongside us, and the ingredients we use are still our highest priority. No one loves pizza more than Pizza Hut. That’s why pizza is in our name — and always will be.
Tapestry is about capturing the magic of a child's early years experience and recording children's learning in a way that is simple, creative and affordable.
We’ve put thought, care and educational expertise into every aspect of our online learning journals to enable you to record and celebrate children’s progress and to provide parents and carers with special memories to treasure.
We are a small but growing team of people who believe in facilitating educators to provide the best learning experiences for children. We include developers, product support, finance, and our education team and most of us are based on the South Coast of the UK. We should also mention the various and much-loved dogs who populate the office on a regular basis.
To tell the story of Tapestry, we must go back to Valentine’s Day, 2003 and the creation of the Foundation Stage Forum (FSF). This is a professional and supportive online community made up of thousands of educators. Here you can find advice, information, articles and resources. Steve created the FSF in response to Helen’s wish that there could be a virtual space for practitioners to share ideas and experiences. Time passed, the FSF grew. Meanwhile, Steve and Helen were listening to the many debates and discussions taking place on the forum. Steve wondered how settings could help families stay connected with their child’s learning in the moment. And so, Tapestry was launched in 2012. Now used by 17,000 settings in 40 countries, Tapestry continues to support staff and families to share and value the learning that happens at home or away.
We’re passionate about providing interactive, integrated resources for educators. We’re extremely proud of Tapestry and believe it will continue to transform the way children’s learning experiences and achievements are recorded and celebrated.
We develop and adapt Tapestry according to the needs of those who use it, so if you have an idea of how we can improve we’d love to hear from you.
